New in this release:

Comments

When viewing a post or event on your public website, you will see the ability to Leave A Comment.

This will allow your registered users to discuss an event or news post with each other.

In your control panel menu, you will see Settings > Comments.

Here you can disable the comments feature.

Underneath is the comment blacklist feature:

You can use this feature to block any words you do not want used in the comments. Offensive language is replaced by asterisks (******).

You can give coaches the ability to moderate comments. In your control panel menu click on Coaches > View All Coaches and select a coach. Scroll down for the permissions menu:

When viewing comments, all coaches with the moderate comments permission will see a little garbage can in the top-right corner of each comment:

To remove an offensive comment, simply click on the garbage can, and it will be removed.

Parent Email

All members under the age of 18 will see a new parent email field on their membership form:

Whenever an email is sent to a member under the age of 18, a copy will be sent to the parent’s email automatically.

Event-Based Dues

When creating an event you will now see the option to add an event cost:

When an event cost is set, members will be automatically billed as soon as they sign-up via the website.

Other Tweaks

You may notice a few other small tweaks in this release:

  • Whenever a new user registers you will be sent an email notifying you automatically
  • “Hidden” events no longer appear on the dashboard
  • The “View All Members” panel now shows members in alphabetical order by default

As always, there is more to come. Thanks again to all our coaches for all their great suggestions.
